SHARING SOME STUFF

Just finished a layout and mini-album. I used maya road album and SEI papers throughout the book. It contains my 8 habits. 8 good and bad habits. We all have them, why not scrapbook them.

I just went over at twopeas and I'm in the top 10 of most viewed and voted layouts. WOW. I created the most viewed mini-album LOL.

It's an honor eventhough it's not a contest. Everybody likes it when their work is appreciated. I love to get inspired by others work and love to inspire others with mine. Nothing wrong about that right?

I painted again. Yeah this layout was so much fun to create... It looks much better in real life. I created this for a "why do you scrapbook' challenge over at scrapinstyletv.com. Love te way it turned out.

These are all handmade by myself.
An excellent art for your home, office and not to forget YOUR STUDIO. It's also a fantastic gift for your friends and family.
Now I'm taking pre-orders. Every item will be made by myself. the process takes 6 weeks.

I use these fabulous stones and build up from there. This Man above is reading a book, so Excellent to use it to for in your bookshelf...

These 3 man are really chique. I have them on a table in the hallway. Everytime someone comes to visit me they ask me to create one for their home. So there comes the idea to create them for sale.

This is my first and favorite sculpture. It holds my initial, so an excellent piece for your studio and to give away.
A mother with a baby. I think it turned out pretty good. Another piece that you can give it on a baby shower of after the birth. Or you can keep it yourself ;)

These were a few ideas. I can create any kind of sculpture you wish.

Her Name is Kaylee... She's my Boyfriend's daughter. 2 days younger then Dilara. She is SO CUTE and SO SMART. I'm happy to have her in my life. I miss her very much...

It's 4:35 am and I'm still up and working. I bet Johnny will be mad LOL...

It's just that I have so many ideas floating through my head that I can' t sleep. Working makes me happy. Creating makes me happy. Dreaming (while awake LOL) makes me happy.

So I miss a few hours of sleep. WHO CARES? not me heehee

Well, there are a lot of secret projects going on in this Studio.

Need to tidy it up though. I need to send pictures to aby and I really don't want her to see it looking like this LOL.

Here are 2 pictures I just got from my sister,. I look horrible... I was in the clinic at that moment ( A REALLY HARD TIME IT WAS)

I live by myself now for 2,5 weeks now... and finally I can tell that I'm happy about it. I am decorating my home just the way I want it. I can it and do everything I want to do... (most of the time doing my homework at home)....

Next weekend I will go to Utrecht. There is a wedding. So I want to dress up and GO with my sister and her hubby. I need to focus on good things. When I feel good, that will increase the chance to get my children (READ: LOVE OF MY LIFES) back...

When you are all by yourself and you need to face the world alone. That's the time when you meet your inner power. Yeah, I have that power too (Strange HUH LOL).
I'm trying to built a life for myself and my kids. It's hard but fun. every time I accomplish something, I feel so much strength and happiness.
I don't want any man in my life right now. First I need to build my own, get better So that I'm all independent.

Ow, and the spring has finally come... Yeah. I love the sun. Need to go on vacation this year. all by myself and with some luck I can bring my kids with me.

A NEW BEGINNING

I'm opening a really new chapter in my life. One with HOPE, STRENGTH, HEALTH and HAPPINESS. I feel stronger then I ever felt in my life.

I started homeschooling, I have one of the sweetest dog (i will take a picture tomorrow of him). I am going to work on my studio tomorrow. And then I will be back in this beautiful world called SCRAPBOOKING.

I can't wait to scrapbook again... i will share corinne's layouts ASAP.

this past week the weather over here is excellent. So today i'm going to take care of myself.
Put on my new bikini and lay down under the sun while my little sweet gorgeous alara is enjoying herself in here little private pool...
And tonight I'm planning to visit a friend.
i have an appointment with my shrink tomorrow morning. We are going to finally start with the therapy PHEW. Gosh, those people are really making me crazy. 4 years of my life i've waited for this moment. that i would get some help. and now FINAlly i'm getting it (I HOPE IT WILL HELP)

And I got an email from Jana Holstein from the magazine Somerset Memories. Such a sweet woman. she's asking how I'm doing. HOW SWEET.
and they want to publish another layout in their awesome magazine. i need to put together a step by step instruction. YAY..

I need to start scrapping soon. Because a dutch company wants me to work for them.. and ofcourse i have my magazine work.

Scrapping helped me to get through rough times. and now I have to use it again. thank you all my sweet friends all over the world for your encouraging words.

First I would like you to know that ALARA is hereeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.... Gosh, How did I miss my little precious girl. today we are going to swim and bbq.... Now there is only 1 heartache... my other baby dilara... but i know i will have her back next month. So I can be a mommy again to my 2 angels...

There happened a lot in my life the last few months. Someone really BROKE my heart deep.... REALLY DEEP... It's still hurting... yes, it's not easy to forget... but I will eventually.
No Pain for someone who doesn't deserve it... NEVER AGAIN...

I have a lot of empty boxes here right now... alara and I will pack our house up and move to a place where no body can find us...

I signed out from hyves.nl... because of the memories there... I'm not looking back there again... for good. now it's time to move forward... to a fresh new life with the experiences i learned this past few months.

Maybe i will have a new career... Some people asked me to teach dancing classes... SHAKE THAT ASS GIRL bwahahahaha....

love you all so much girls... and when I'm moved i will start working on my scrapbook career too... i want to have my scrapbooking back... and this time i will be using a lot of PAINT... in all the extreme ways... believe me...

i'm planning to start my life all over again... i didn't see my kids for about a month now. they are in germany with my husbands family... i want to divorce... many of you know that... i have my reasons for it... that i can't tell here...

PAINTING GROUP

First I would like to thank all of you for your support during my hard times (especially Corinne Delis, such a sweet woman with an GOLDEN heart)... I'm feeling better and I'm GOD thankful for it.

Yesterday i started joining a painting group. It's right around the corner but I'm afraid to go there by myself :( So my dad drove me there... And guess what... I walked back home afterwards... YEAH...

I'm going to that group again over 45 minutes... I'm going alone with my bike... EEEEKKKK... I'm scared but I know I can do it...

Oh, and I started an oilpainting of Sandra Bullock... My favorite movie star... She doesn't look like sandra bullock yet, but she will I hope LOL...

I'm sorry... I can't tell you that i am feeling good these past days since my last post. Every morning I get up with a very painfull feeling. I called the shrink and went there to talk about it on friday 1 pm. they told me that i need to go through this. it's all because of the new medication bla bla bla.

THEY MESSED ME UP... they changed 4 anti-depressiva in 8 weeks time... UNBELIEVABLE... Ofcourse my body is giving up... But I'm NOT.
They want to change my medication again... NO... this far and NOT further... Over my dead body... I DON'T WANT THEM TO MESS ME UP AGAIN... once these medication start to work (in a couple of weeks) I can't handle it to go all through this again. NO WAY...

Today i visited Ali Edwards blog. She made the cutest valentine album. So eventhough i'm feeling like dying inside i started 1 too. It will take me ages to finish it but at least i got something to do.

please pray for me girls. pray that these bad feelings will go away...SOON...

I slept from 7 pm till now. I just couldn't hold it anymore. Every day I'm feeling a tiny bit better and that's a huge thing. I'm thinking about what's important in my life. My kids... My kids are my everything. I had times when I thought i couldn't handle them... Times that they both cried and i was crying with them. Now it's like music to my ears. hearing them crying, laughing, talking in their own way. God, that's the most beautiful sound in the world.
I always wanted to have a clean and tidy house. So I got mad every time my girls messed it up. Now I don't care anymore. Make a mess my babies... You are what counts... Your happiness, OUR happiness is what counts.
My husband... I got frustrated every time he played a game on the computer. But I didn't realise how close he was to us... Everytime something happened or we wanted his attention HE GAVE IT TO US... NOW i don't care anymore. I couldn't ask for a better husband. If he likes to play. play my baby... Your happiness is my happiness.

When your health turns upside down. You will realise what's important and what NOT. You will realise how we take every day for granded... NO NO NO NO... Every day is a gift that GOD is giving to us. Look around you... And look at the things that you forgot. Did you call your mother/father today? Did you hugged your babies and told them how much you love them? Did you make your husband happy by just 1 kiss?? that's what mathers my friends.... that's the main thing we live for but we forget in our busy lives.

Now i'm going to kiss my sleeping babies and my hubby. Go kiss yours... Tell them how important they are before it's too late...

Sorry, i'm a bit emotional... but i'm a person that believes that everything happens for a reason... and what happened to me has opened my eyes.

Family and friends are what mathers... Go, do something to make them happy. and enjoy their happiness... Like I said... their happiness is OUR happiness...

today I got a phone call from sweet corinne. thank you so much. it meant the world to me that you are thinking of me.
I'm experiencing the hell on earth right now. but this is NOT the first time and it won't be the last. i did beat anxiety, depression a long time ago. and I can do it again... over and over again.
thanks for reminding me about that.

i had a visitor today. yeah, scrapbookrelated. It made me feel good. for the first time in such a long time. I'm going to clean up my studio before friday. And on friday i will start scrapping again. I know it will help me to find strength in it...

thank you all so much. i'm all in tears right now. tears of pain AND JOY. Eventhough i feel like garbage, i know that i can't let myself go... i need to fight. i need to fight...
you girls give me that strength to fight. i don't know how i can thank you all..

I came home on friday and I'm NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT going back again.
they (the stupid doctor) is changing my medication AGAIN.... i changed 4 medication in 7 weeks time... what the heck....
they dropped all the medication I took to get through all of this disaster in 1 day... i suffered severe anxiety attacks because of it... but you know what's the worst part...

THURSDAY evening i got an epileptic attack... I had a total black out. I can't remember a thing of what happened. but they told me that I yelled and fell on the floor. I was shaking, there was bubbles coming out of my mouth. I bit on my tonque. (after 4 days I still don't have any feelings on my tonque)... i was gone for 15 minutes they say....

no, i didn't get any visit of a doctor or what so ever. my left arm is purple/black because of that incident.

so i decided that I will never go back there anymore. i want to be with my kids.
i'm in pain, my soul hearts... i miss my family, i miss scrapbooking, i miss being ME again. i'm not letting them destroy ME...

I'm leaving for at least 2 weeks to a clinic. my panic attacks are getting worser...

Scrapbooking can be therapeutic. At least IT IS TO ME. I'm glad that i found this hobby. It helps me to be a happier person. Why would someone want me to quit with it? Ofcourse because they don't scrapbook :( I'm lucky that I have friends and my husband in my life. I love them more then I can ever explain in words.

Remember that I was talking about a very cool agenda. Here it is... My hubby took the picture just before I left to ede. I will post better pictures of it. I think this is the coolest alterable agenda I ever saw. . . How cool is that stitched cover?

Aw signs of fall. It's my favorite season. These are snapshots I took on my way to ede. I wish I could lay down in those leaves. Awesome...

Finally arrived in ede. This is the most amazing shop with the most amazing owner. We played with beeswax. OMG, I need to have it. I can't wait to play with it again. I think I need to save money for it... But i want it RIGHT NOW LOL.

I totally forgot to show you this. Remember that I was in ede 2 weeks ago? Here's the result of a make and take I took there. We played with stamps en paint... I'm getting more and more interested in stamping. So I bought some amazing paperarsty stamps...

Some random facts:

- I'm going to start participating with the AAE challenges. I finished my page for the next challenge that will be up on monday november 11th. You all need to do that challenge. It's so cool and we will have a very talented, and very sweet guest designer. I will let you know when it's up.

- I had a phone call today with Ine from scrap-i-do.nl. I will be teaching an Prima paintables class next month. Yay, I love those paintables. I will keep you updated about this.

- Tomorrow I have a scrapday with Dorenda (the owner of scrappendoejezo.nl) in ede. I think it will be a lot of fun... Will show you pics tomorrow.

- I FOUND THE MOST AMAZING AGENDA. At least it looks amazing to me LOL. Will show you a pic tomorrow... I'm so happy with it..

I decided to post more on my blog. Lately I have been so busy that I couldn't find the time or the energy to update. So when I want to post something then I have so much to share that it's not fun anymore.

Yesterday evening I cleaned my studio and I organized all my deadlines. Finally I found some peace. Now I can move forward and start doing my duties on time, for example my AAE challenges ;)

It looks like I don't scrap anymore but that's NOT true. I finished some projects for glitz, for CMF (magazine) and for All about eve. But I can't show them :(

You just need to have a little bit more patient. In the mean time I will blog some sneaks and ramble about my life and my plans.

Oh I almost forgot. These 6 ladies will get something handmade from me within 365 days. Remember girls. You should pay it forward on your blog.

A FRESH START

Today it's November first. It's time to get back on track again. Last month was a bad month to me. I got the flu, then my kids, then I got the flu back, the kids got it also back, Toothache, Dentist pulled 2 of them out, 1 week of tootache etc. LOL

Thank god I'm feeling okay right now.

So from today on I will start scrapping again like crazy (which I did this whole evening, SORRY, can't show it, it's for GLITZ). I still need to finish up Gwen's mini-album, i will be the guest designer for busybeescrapbooking.com, I will start participating again with the AMAZING ALL ABOUT EVE challenges...etc. etc. A pretty busy but FUN month is waiting for me. Especially the crop on november 17th with the sistv girls in Ede... I can't wait to meet you all girls ;)

Now I really need to go to bed. I will try to update ASAP with the names of the girls who will be getting PAY IT FORWARD RAKS FROM ME ;)

Alright girls... I'm still alive, so DON'T worry LOL. I was very sick the last couple of weeks (I still am UGGHH).. And ofcourse quite a few deadlines. I will have 2 new articles coming up in the december issue of the dutch scrapbookmagazine Creatief met foto's. I worked with some YUMMY new CHA releases hee hee... Sorry, I can't share it with you right now but I love the way they turned out... Here is the layout I did for theembellishmentstudio.com. I am working on another page and a fun little project for them... You really should check that site out because the ribbons I got are DELICIOUS... Aw and I got this picture from Micki Slife... I was in search for some winter themed pictures. Unfortunately this picture didn't get picked by the editor BUT i love it anyway. So I needed to create a layout with it... Hope you like it Micki.. I am going to show it to the editor though, maybe she wants to publish it after all ;)

Last Saturday I was in EDE again. MANNNN, I LOVE THAT PLACE... Not only the shop but also the people over there... They make you feel HOME. Truly my kind of people... If you live in Holland. Please go and check it out (or let's go together ;)

SDJZ (the shop) was celebrating his FIRST anniversary. And ofcourse I needed to be there... I was there around 11 am. We had so much fun scrapping, FREE make and takes, chatting... The shop closed at 5 pm but my husband called me that they would be a little late. OOPS, what was I supposed to do. But Dorenda (the amazing owner) told me that I could wait there till they came... I was soo happy.. thanks again dorenda...

So ended up celebrating the anniversary along with the owners and the team. (HEE HEE HOW LUCKY AM I). I took around 60 pictures WOW... I'm glad that I could help them to remember that BIG day. They drunk Champagne and so did I.. Uhmm actualy I tasted it LOL.. I don't like alcohol.. Bleehhh, no NOT MY thing.

Time flies BY... I haven't updated my blog for a while, so sorry about that. But I'm burried in Deadlines. AND I'M LOVING IT... There are some amazing things Happening to me.. I feel SOOO Blessed and LUCKY...

- I took another class with Jo-anne te RAA... An embellishment workshop in Ede (http://www.scrappendoejezo.nl/) Love that girl, love that shop, love the owner and LOVE THE WORKSHOPS over there... We made a really cool book with all sorts of embellishemnt ideas in it... Jo-anne learned us how to crochet. I always loved to crochet. I made a lot of things with it. But I never used it on my scrapbookpages. That will change for SURE... ;) Thanks Jo-anne for the amazing workshop... I can't wait to come to the Hambly workshop you will be teaching this month... ;)

- I had an APPOINTMENT with the owner of a scrapbookstore (http://www.scrap-i-do.nl/) They asked me to be their GUEST TEACHER. So I will be giving my very FIRST workshop there. HOW FREAKING COOL IS THAT??? I already prepared a class. And let me tell ya, I'm already in love with the project ;) I will post a sneak peak when 'we pick a date... It includes transparencies, chipboard, felt, buttons, PAINT... really cool album...

- I went to the magazine (http://www.creatiefmetfotos.nl/) And I GOT a lot of YUMMY stuff to play with... And a really exciting offer... GOSH, this is like a dream come true... I can't tell you anything YET... It will be revealed in the December ISSUE of the mag ;)

- My daughter started pre-school ( I think you call it like that or Kindergarten). She's sooooo excited to go there every tuesday and friday. So fun...

- My latest pages for scrapsupply.com... I will miss it... It was amazing working for you this past 3 months girls. thanks for everything...

BTW: our assignment was to create your own journalling spots...

ALL ABOUT EVE AND A TOOT

Here is my latest entry for our fabulous challenge blog ALL ABOUT EVE (link on the sidebar). This weeks challenge is to scrap about your EVERY DAY. First I thought to create a layout with my daily schedule but I changed my mind as you can see. this layout is about the responsibilities I have every DAY... My kids, My husband, Dealing with the finances, Cooking, Cleaning and last but not least MY ART... That the huge part of my life. I didn't have much time to scrapbook lately, so I felt miserable. Now I'm trying to get back to it and I really feel a burst of energy going through my body. I just can't live without MY ART.

As some of you know, I am really interested in Oil paintings. I can't use oil paint on my scrapbookpages though. Or I need to wait months for it to dry LOL... So I made a decision to use AS MUCH AS PAINT on my pages AND i want to start doing OIL paintings. I have a really talented OIL PAINTING friend. She is REALLY AMAZING. GOSH... She just did 2 paintings and she REALLY ROCKED IT... WOW... I will take pictures of it to show here... She is SO FREAKING TALENTED... I'm jalous LOL...

I'm working on an assignment for scrapsupply.com... And YES, I used a LOT of paint. It really looks artistic. I cant show it yet BUT I truly hope you'll like it too ;)

Now about my TOOT... I am septembers guest designer for http://www.theembellishmentstudio.com/.... I'm so excited about that. Can't wait to receive my package.

Alright... Where do I start. Life is a little hectic at the moment. I didn't scrapped for over a week now. I guess I just needed a break. I took a break from the All about eve challenges too (see link on the right). But MAKE sure to check the layouts that are on there now. We have a reader as a guest designer. You can be the NEXT ;)

I have a lot of layouts to share which I made a few weeks ago. It's for scrapsupply.com. I needed to wait for the newsletter to come out before I could post them here. Those 3 layouts I did by provided sketches. Make sure to sign up for it to see which ones LOL. I interpret it MY OWN WAY... The sketches covered the whole background. But I like to work with white spaces. So I centered the sketches in the middle of my layouts. So if you are a white space scrapper OR you want to start it... Please check out the newsletter and see HOW i did it..

Saturday august 25th I went to scrappendoejezo.nl in EDE to meet the fabulous JO-ANNE. I enjoyed her workshop SOOOO MUCH. She's really a cutie and so fun, spontanious. I really loved to be there Jo-anne. thank you for the ROCKING workshop. I hope to meet you again soon ;)

Uhmm Look at me. I didn't know ANNIKA (she works there and she joined to workshop too) was taking a picture of me... You bad girl LOL... You can see that I had some problems with the layout I created at that moment.
This is what we made... 4 transparant layouts. The workshop started at 10 am till 4 pm.... I thought It was way tooooo short LOL.. I could sleep there... REALLY ... But I don't think Annika would like that bwahahaha. She was making fun of me all the time because I was tracing a lot on my layouts. I cant help it... Thats the way I work and I'm loving it...

But seriously. Annika is A REALLY FUNNY, CRAZY WOMAN. I Loved talking to her... she ROCKS.

We did a round robin on this layout: You had 10 minutes to work on your layout and you needed to pass it to the person on your left. After 10 minutes she passes to her left etc. So at the end you have a layout where everyone worked on... SO COOL

Who do you think that did this cloud and rainbow? JO-ANNE. She is so creative... Love her. She totally Rocks. thanks again girlie...

I made this family hanger with the WEBSCRAPPIN.COM kit... Tracey from serendipityscrapbooks.com asked me to do a tutorial about gesso and paint. So I combined both assignments. I just uploaded the tutorial. You can view it HERE... Visit it if you have the time.

And some american crafts layouts... I don't like the last one... GRRR but other people loved it... I'm trying out for the american crafts designteam. The chance is HUGE that I don't make it... But at least I tried right?

Here is the cover of the mini-book I'm working on... It's my FIRST class project.. YAY...
It's NOT finished yet... i only did the front cover and the introduction page... I will finish it when I have the time for it... I need to work on some HUGE deadlines this upcoming 2 weeks. HEE HEE... But this project will be SO COOL... I'm in LOVE with Little albums that hardly can close LOL...

And here are some shots of my studio.... NO, IT'S NOT NOT NOT FINISHED... it will take some time... I need to find a better storage for my paints... I need to have a big closet... bla bla bla... I just have so much to do...

Uhmmm yes, winnie the pooh is still hanging on the wall... I made them myself for Dilara... I attached christmas lights on the back of the winnie the pooh. So It looks really AWESOME at night ;) But I will take it down AS SOOON AS I BUY A CLOSET ;)

* The new All about EVE challenge is UP... This time our assignment was to scrap about our ESCAPE... So I created a layout about my Smoking addiction... It's truly my escape. I smoke when I'm happy, sad, tired, energic, bored, busy ..... BOttom line is that I smoke tooooo much...'

I haven't updated in a long time... I was very busy with moving into my new studio WINK WINK. I love this place so much.. I scrap more since I moved in here... The right side of the room is kinda finished... Now I need to buy a decent closet for the left side and decorate that.. I found a really cool one.. we'll see...
I will post pictures as soon as I can...

And now I'm dealing with cystitis... UGHH.. I started with antibiotics today and I feel much better.. I lived in the bathroom the last few days... I needed to go there every 2 minutes.. Glad it's NOT that bad anymore...

Anyway I am working on some cool mini-album... I will share it with you AS SOON AS I FINISH IT... It will be a sneak BECAUSE IT'S A ....... Well, I don't want to spill it yet.. just keep an eye on this blog for more information... It's going to be REALLY COOL... WOOOHOOO...

Hi sweeties.. it's been a long time since I posted something here... I'm sorry for that... Sometimes people just need a break... But that doesn't mean I don't scrap anymore. I finished a cj entry, my 2nd all about eve challenge layout and many more...

I'm going to have my own STUDIO wahooooooo.... I'm sooooooo happy about it... It will take some time to make it the way I want. Wish I was RICH *sigh* LOL... Well actually, I don't want to... Nothing is more exciting then creating a room a little at a time... Instead of buying everything in 1 day, right?

How do I want my room to look like?

NOT CHIC... NOT CLEAN... I just want a cozy, warm place where i have all my stuff organized a bit... I see a lot of rooms looking like an OFFICE... WTH? How can you feel creative in such a place? I know I can't...

This guy was THE ROCKSTAR of TURKEY... He got famous after a show 4 years ago.. A show like American Idols... He had an accident with his car on saturday... We ALL prayed that he would get better but GOD decided to take him... HE PAST AWAY a few hours ago...
It really hurts... I loved him very much... He was only 28 years old.. Can you imagine...

Phew... it was A VERY HARD WEEKEND to me... I scrapped like a crazy... 6 layouts in less then 1,5 day + an article for a dutch mag... It will be pubbed in the august issue so I will let you know WHICH one then ;)

And I didn't feel well the last couple of days... So I had NO energy to post here.. SORRY... But I'm back now... And I feel SUPER...

I have a COUPLE of HUGE secret projects going on... ( well, we are now at the stage that we are chatting about the possibilities to make it work)... That's all I can tell you ;) hee hee, I am SOOOOO BAD...

Well I promised you that I had a HUGE toot... the first one is that I was asked to write an article with 6 layouts for one of the biggest Dutch scrapmag... And the second one is>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I am also asked to write an article with 6 or 7 layouts to go with for SOMERSET MEMORIES (Legacy)...

My first time publications will be HUGE LOL... So I need to get working on it... So exciting...

TIME TO REVEAL MY 2 SECRETS

UHMMM don't be scared this is just paint LOL.. I played with gesso again.. But I tried to use some watercolor on it (ofcourse Acrylic too)... The black border is a lift from one of Celine Navarro's layouts ;) I did this with the JUNE kit of webscrappin.com kit... I am so curious what they will think about this... This is NOT what they expect LOL...

It's JUNE 15th so it's time to reveal my secrets...

BOOO, PHOTOSWAP AND RUSTY PICKLE ENTRIES

The titel on this post says it all.. I DIDN'T MADE IT TO THE FINALS OF THE RUSTY PICKLE DESIGNTEAM CONTEST... But my sweetie CAMI did.. Congrats girl.. Can't wait to see your entries.. I bet they're totally AWESOME...

First i want you to show this page I created for a photoswap with sweet TAY... Isn't that kid SOOO CUTE... I used Corinne Delis' Cherry ARTE paper for the FIRST time.. And I'm loving it ;)

Let's move on to my Rusty pickle NOT PICKED entries LOL.. First I want to say that I'm NOT dissapointed.. I have so MANY amazing things going on that 1 dissapointment CAN'T get me discouraged ;)... And I think that my style don't fit them... Maybe that's why they didn't choose me OR MY WORK REALLY SUCKS... Sorry guys, This is what a could come up with in a few hours and a sleepless night LOL...
BUT I LOVE EACH AND EVERY PIECE OF THEM and that's what matters to me... My family is crazy about what I created for this contest (that's weird... because they used to say ONLY good or beautiful LOL)....
So here is my transparancy mini-album... Everything is rusty pickle AND some NON scrapping items (the bubble wrap)

And this is my treasure standing on my tv right now ;) I altered a cardboard... Maybe this doesn't fit the category Altered ART... But hey... Everything that is NOT on paper is ALTERED right.. And I'm going to hang this on the wall... It's Strong enough...

MMM the layout... I kept it simple because I ran out of RUSTY PICKLE products LOL... The tag you see was hanging on the RP button bottle.. AND the word wrong was on the chipboard package... I just cut it out and put it on my page... So ALL Products are again from RP hee hee... Except for the chipboard letters ;)

This was such an AMAZING experience to me... I proved to myself that i was capable enough to create projects REALLY fast.. And actually LOVE THEM TOO... It was REALLY FUN creating them... I didn't get into the final BUT I have 3 creations which my family REALLY ADORE's... Ofcourse ME TOO ;)

WOW WHAT A NIGHT

A few weeks ago I saw the Rusty Pickle amazing race (designteam contest) on scrapstreet.com... I thought I'll give that a try but It was really hard to find their products here... Anyway after that decision there happened a lot in my life... I got in 2 designteams and ofcourse ON GLITZ Designteam... I totally forgot about this contest... I like contests as you know.. I always want to push myself to the limits and get challenged...

Anyway, yesterday afternoon I saw a thread on 2peas and I thought what the heck I'll give it a shot... But the problem was ::::: The deadline... June 1th... So I had less then a day to finish 1 layout, 1 altered item and 1 mini-album... How was I supposed to do that???

Yesterday at midnight started creating till 4 am.. And believe it or not... I finished them YOOOHOOO... It felt soooooooooo good... Even if I don't make it to the final I will be still glad because I saw what I was capable of. And I'm already on an AWESOME manufacturer designteam ;)

So here are some sneaks that I created... I had only 4 sheets of patterned paper, chipboard, 1 sheet transparancy, letter stickers and some cardboard letters... SO THIS WAS A CHALLENGE TOO LOL

This one is the sneak of the mini-album... I did an transparancy mini-album because I didn't have enought RP papers... And I'm loving it :This one is the sneak of the project... I altered a piece of cardboard... I want to hang it on the wall:

Guess what colors I used LOL... The mini-album is like a rainbow believe me...

And I figured out that orange and purple fit each other perfectly...

The finalist will be announced on monday... And those are getting a box of goodies AND assignments... At the end they will choose the lucky NEW DT MEMBERS ;)

5. When my girls are sleeping.. I sometimes sneak in their rooms and I cry... why?? Because I love them sooooooooooooooooooo much, I'm soooo happy to have them in my lives... And when they're sleeping I miss them SOOO MUCH... It may sound really weird...

MY TIME-MANAGEMENT SECRET LOL AND A LAYOUT

A few sweet people asked me to share my secret (well, it's NOT really a secret) So here is A LONG article about it... Sorry for the bad english ...

First of ALL, I'M NOT AN EXPERT... I am just a regular SAHM who has her OWN way to plan her day... What works for me doesn't have to work for you...

So here I GO...

I want to talk about my day first... I usely stay up around 7 or 8 am... (Not that I want to )

I don't have to tell you that I get dressed, go to the bathroom etc LOL..

So I grab my kids and i go downstairs... I always check my email first... Just to see if there is something important in my mailbox (Otherwise I can't focus on anything else )

After that I do the random things... Like changing diapers, feeding Dilara etc.

I have ALWAYS a notebook next to me during the breakfast... I jot down a to do list for that day... NOT SCRAPBOOK RELATED... I plan my day in advance so I can start my day with a CLEAN mind ( I think you all know what I'm talking about... We all have a HUGE to do list up there ;) It's SOOO HUGE that it seems like we're loosing control of it... )

I usely give myself till 12 am to clean my house... ofcourse with a lot of breaks... And then I prepare the lunch... After the lunch I have all the time to be there for my kids... Dilara usely sleeps when I'm cleaning and Alara helps me with the dishwasher ;) We dance around the house.. Fight a little... But it's SO MUCH FUN...

In the afternoon we take our MUCH NEEDED NAP together... AW that feels so good LOL

I told my family and friends that it's NAP time after 3 o'clock... They totally understand that THANK GOD... Having 2 little SWEET devils in the house is REALLY hard sometimes.. And this is something I just need to do.. But there are days that I don't have the time for it... That's ok too... But most days I'm in DREAMLAND ;)

AWAKE, feeding, changing diapers, cooking, dinner, cleaning...

Well, finally I have the time to watch tv or to fight with my HUBBY ;)

Alara goes to bed around 9 pm... After that I STILL HAVE A KID TO TAKE CARE OF... But Thank god she's a sweet baby... She only cries till midnight LOL..

But when do I scrapbook??? After 11 pm... Yes I know it's late... But I don't mind it AT ALL... I'm a NIGHT OWL... During the day I keep on dreaming about scrapbooking.. And when the night falls It's time to let it out bwahaha...

Everybody has a moment in the day that they feel the most CREATIVE... It's NIGHTS for me but it can be morning, afternoon or evening for you... That's the important thing I think... Finding out your CREATIVE MOMENT...

I suggest you to pay attention to it... Live your day like you always do and try to figure out what works the best for you... Even if it's 15 minutes a day... Ali edwards wrote an AWESOME article about it.. 15 minutes a day will be a lot of hours a month ;)

I'm a SAHM... Maybe you are a working MOM, or just working without being a mom ;)

My advice is the same for you... alright, you can't take a nap during the day... SO go to bed at a decent hour BUT look if you can create some time in the evening to SCRAPBOOK... If that's NOT possible you have still the WEEKENDS ... Maybe you can do some preparations for the weekend... Planning pages, printing photo's etc... So that everything is ready when you have the time...

HOW DO I MANAGE MY DEADLINES:

I have a seperate deadline list... As you can see below: (sorry I needed to cut out something on my list... A secret YOU KNOW LOL)

I change this list every few days... I arrange my deadlines in the order I want to do them... Sometimes I have to ad something else SO I START A NEW ONE... This list gives me SO MUCH PEACE... I never miss a deadline or a contest I wanna do...

And to keep track of my deadlines and other appointments I printed out a calendar... 1 for this month and one for the following month.. So I can plan everything immediately ;) I hang it above my laptop so I can't miss it...

I am working on my schedule for next month... It's not empty as you see above LOL

Yes, it was time to change the song on my blog... I LOVE LOVE LOVE this song... I'm stalking KELLIE's blog every day to listen to it and that's NOT fair to her.. So I put it on my own blog ;)
So kellie, you don't have to change your video anymore LOL.. I love to listen to this song while I'm scrapping... It just inspires me...

My dear, sweet baby dilara, who's only 5 months old has HEUPDYSPLASIE... I don't know how you call it in English but it means that she has some problems with her hips... Her right leg is not on the right place in her hip so She needed to wear a weird thing to keep her legs in the right postition... I will post a pic of her tomorrow... I don't know, it's not a big problem but it still hurts me... My baby, my poor baby... changing her diapers and her clothes is NOW a big issue...
we have another appointment over 2 weeks... I really hope they will tell that it's going to good direction... Otherwise she needs to have to wear another thing (gips) for a few months.. And if that doesn't help she needs to have a surgery...

Please I need your prayers girls... My sweet friends...

of this layout?? I did this for the HAMBLY GDT call... All the transparancy's are from Hambly + the rubon.... The pp is tinker INK... I used them for the first time and I LOVE IT...
I painted squares on the orange hambly overlay on the background... I love to find new ways to use those AWESOME products... What do you think? should I apply with this one???

And I used dimensional fabric paint.. But it works great on transparancies and foam LOL...

Hi girls, here's the sneak I promised yesterday. I almost uploaded the whole layout OOPS... That's not GOOD.. I think I'm still sleeping... It's really nice weahter over here and I worked a little in the garden ;) I can't find the pic of my garden... Need to ask my hubby first. I think it's on his computer...

Alright, how does the sneak looks?? I used very bold colors, ORANGE AND cardboard included ofcourse ;)... It was really fun to play with LUCY CHESNA"s sketch ;) I'll post a link to her sketch blog tomorrow when my layout is UP... I"M A SKETCH DIVA YAY...

ANY PLANS FOR THE WEEKEND?

We are sooo busy with our backyard... You can't believe it... It was like a jungle... We moved here a year ago but we had to wait till now to start working on it...
I will show you pics of what it looked like ... You will be in shock believe me...

I'm planning to do A lot of scrapping as usual... I have a few more deadlines...

Here is a layout I created yesterday for miranda's scrapstreetstar challenge Are you transparant. We needed to create our own transparancy... (you know I'm in love with transparancies ;) So I doodled ( not a doodling actually) with paint on a clear transparancy...
And I used Piensatelier.nl April kit... This kit was just awesome... I will definetely create a new layout with it ;)

SCRAPSTREET ROUND 4, TOOT AND OTHER NEWS

This is the page that I've created for my challenge 'what's your style' at scrapstreet.com... Creating this was SO FUN, I really enjoyed it... Maybe because it's ALL ABOUT MY STYLE ;)
I noticed that i'm getting faster with scrapping. It took me usually DAYS before I finished a layout now I can do it in one evening and STILL LOVE THE result...
And I realize that THIS IS WHAT I WAS MEANT TO DO... I am REALLY addicted to it...

BTW: I printed the photo on white cardstock and sanded the edges with a scissor... I always use scissors for that... It gives the edges a GREAT texture and I'm all about texture AS you know...

You know that I haven't been chosen for the Story of your life DT. But yesterday I received an email from sweet SARA (I think she's the owner ;) if I wanted to be a guest-designer in the future.. Ofcourse i jumped on it right away LOL... And her sweet words really touched me. It's always great to get praised.

I am not sad anymore. Being an honorable mention AND a guest designer is such an HONOR. Thank you sweet Sara... I really appreciate it... (I still hope you change your mind though LOL)...

This is my DT entry... I did this in half an hour which is a record to me... I just wanted to apply... I hope I will have more chance with my other entries .... Wish me luck ;)

And I MADE IT TO ROUND 4 with the scrapstreetstar contest... YAY... They liked my project ;) This week we have to create a challenge... And I am working on it... It would be so cool if I won this... More information about my class...

I had a corkboard lying around in the house... I didn't use it... When I saw the assignment for round 3, I KNEW I had to make something big (with LOTS OF WORK) and let myself go... this one is totally freestyle and I LOVE IT... ( it's so much brighter in real life and the texture is so GREAT)... I started with the math first... Gosh that took me 2 days... REALLY... And cutting 112 pieces of cardboard was NOT easy LOL

I changed it 100 times... I put SO MUCH work on this project.. You really can't believe it. But it was so much fun though...

I call it MY PIECE OF ART... Hope you'll like it and I MAKE IT TO THE NEXT ROUND... LOL

I submitted one of my pages for the cover contest to scrapstreet.com ezine... And I'M CHOOSEN AS A FINALIST.... I will be in the magazine for sure but I don't know If I'm going to make it on the cover YOOHOOOOOOOOO...

The assignment for this week is to create a class OMG... It can be a mini-album, altered item, make-and-take or card class... I choose for an altered item class... ALTERED CORK BOARD ;) My plan is to make a play board for ALARA...

I am so excited about this BUT i am so afraid I can't finish it on time... It's a big project and I need to scrap like CRAZY LOL... There are a few deadlines this week so I hope I can finish them all... Maybe I need to ask my mom to babysit the kids ;)

When I told my husband that I was afraid that I would miss the deadline, HE looked at me and said: 'the emine I know will accomplish this'... THIS MADE ME SO HAPPY... It's so important that your husband supports you... All this time I thought that he wasn't supporting me... He was just waiting for the right time LOL... He really made my day... This was the MOST important part of my day.. Even the TOOT couldn't pass this... Thank you turgut I LOVE YOU ;)

I received 3 sketches today from LUCY for her blog (remember I'm going to be a sketch diva LOL)... They're ALL AWESOME... I will put a link here when it's published ;)

I need to get back to scrapping immediately...
